Background is "crazy" pieced and then you set your circles, strips and rings in a pattern that is pleasing to you. Just use the cover images as a guide. There is no right or wrong in placement, nothing is set in stone. Instructions are written for using either a layer cake or yardage. 

This would make a great Make-and-Take project or class as every one would be so unique.
